Spalted Tamarind is a gorgeous wood comprised of multiple swirling colors. The smell is amazing, especially after treating each rune with a natural citrus beeswax wood sealant.

Spalted Tamarind is useful in magic. It is a symbol of fertility, it is a wood that demands respect and positive intentions as it is thought to be the home of spirits.

Each rune is hand carved, sanded, and burned by my hands.

Set of 24 unique handmade hazel wood disks, each carrying a burned rune from the Elder Futhark runic system. Use them for divination or decoration. The set comes with a silver satin bag for easy carrying. Custom back side design available at request.

The Elder Futhark runes are the first set of runes. They were in use throughout Europe among the Germanic tribes from the 1st to the 8th Century AD, after which they were replaced by the Younger Futhark in Viking Age Scandinavia.
